Hello! Welcome to the Prose Story section of the website. This section is where I put all the stories I have created over the years. Most of them were started and never finished. That is why I created this section, so I can motivate myself to finish all these stories that have populated my brain over the years. Some of the stories were started to be comic books, but for one reason or another, the artists quit working on them. Others were done for friends or just for fun. A few things about my stories. First off, you will find little swearing. I am not a fan of swearing and think it is overused in today's media. A few words will be sprinkled here or there, but you will find profanity to be rarely used here and some words are never used on this site. I think it is more a challenge to create tension and drama without resorting to profanity. You may find that the lack of it makes my stories less believable, which is fine, but I choose to not use it. You will also not find any graphic sex or excessive detail of gore. I want my stories to be read by as wide an audience as possible and feel these things are unnecessary. I want the site and the stories to have a rating of PG13, if you use movie ratings. If you think a story needs this to be entertaining, then look elsewhere. You may wonder why I put my stories into issues. This is for three reasons. The first reason is that since most of these stories were meant to be comic books, I try to envision them as issues of a comic book. And one day if an artist comes along that is inspired by one of my stories and wants to draw a comic version of it, they are ready for them. The second reason for this is I find it is easier for me to work on a story if I break it up into issues. I tend to work on two stories at a time and I can set a goal of writing the next issue. It is easier to reach this goal and makes it easier for me to stay on track with my writing. The last reason is it makes it easier for fans of the stories to keep up with them. If I just wrote it like a book and put it up as I worked on it, they may find it hard to know where the new part of the story was and where the old part was. This way they can see that a new issue is up and read it. The issues are also not too big, so there is not alot of fatigue on your eyes from reading it. One thing you may also notice is that the stories can sometimes be a little rough. Once I finish an issue, I post it on the site and get working on another one. I do a spell check and a quick check to correct any glaring problems. On a later date, I proof read it and sometimes I add more to the story. So you will find some errors here and there. Feel free to email me and let me know about any and I will work to correct them. The writing style I use is also a bit different than traditional novels. It is more simple in both word use and description. It reads at a faster pace than alot of novels and it is meant to leave more to the reader's imagination. I am working to be more descriptive in my stories, but I like to leave alot to the reader's imagination. I hope you enjoy the stories and there are more to come. My stories will cover just about all genres from super hero to fantasy to sci-fi to horror. About the only thing I don't write is non-fiction.
